Interesting Facts
In 2007 Abercrombie & Fitch opened its worldwide flagship in the Savile Row, London's historic fine tailoring district. The flagship resides in a English Heritage listed building originally built as a home in 1725. The structure has been altered over its nearly 300-year history, yet architectural features from remain, including the building's original staircase and the vaults from its incarnation as a branch of the Bank of England.
Although some shoppers find the shop too dark, music too loud, perfume too strong, and staff too naked, the flagship is alway frenzied as A&F's only European store. It has plans to expand to other European cities such as Copenhagen in the near future.
