Cartier has three flagship boutiques: Paris, London, and New York. Cartier's first London boutique opened in 1902, after Pierre (Alfred Cartier's second son) moved to London at his father's request to attend to the English aristocracy. Pierre's brother Jacques soon joined him to help him with the newly opened boutique and prepare for Edward VII's coronation. Cartier is the official purveyor to the court of Edward VII from 1904.
